ABOUT RUTH

Ruth is a half Dominican and half Guatemalan actress born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Northern California. Now an NYC local, Ruth was brought up by a single mother and the oldest of three, Ruth flexed her artistic muscles singing talent shows at a young age, but didn’t find her love for acting till she went to community college. From there she went on to get her BA in Theatre arts from California State University, Chico. Ruth currently trains with James Calleri and Jamie Carroll. Shes been recently seen on the first and second season of Girls5Eva, and shared the screen with Donnie Wahlberg on an episode of Blue Bloods. Currently she is writing and producing her own podcast, Post-Ugly, where she interviews survivors and mental health professionals about life post trauma. Ruth is fluent in Spanish and enjoys being one of those hot yoga people.
